Board approves Cate's Lane salt sand distribution

NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield's Board of Selectmen votes to approve continued salt sand distribution for Cate's Lane residents. Selectman Austin Fifield moved to allow Dave Guttadaro to continue using his bobcat to distribute approximately 2 cubic yards of salted sand from the town's shed annually to residents' driveways; Chair Ed Gauthier seconded. The vote was 2-0, with Selectman Rich Zacher abstaining due to his residence on Cate's Lane.
Treasurer Joanne Dolbear reported that 2025 legal expenses totaled $25,000, exceeding the $20,000 budget.
