Board commits $207,000 for Moose Mountain Bridge engineering

NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Select Board approves $207,000 bridge engineering contract and road paving project. The board unanimously approved a $207,000 contract with Beta Engineering for Moose Mountain Bridge restoration engineering following three months of legal review. Road Agent Chris Kinville secured a $125,283 contract with Allstate Construction for paving Clark Road and Lyford Road, based on the company's three years of successful municipal work.
Additional approvals included $27,861.96 in acoustic panel and installation contracts, a forest stewardship plan qualifying land for current use assessment, and a veterans tax credit for 122 Moose Mountain Road.
