Board expresses interest in Kingswood Lake acquisition

NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Select Board formally expresses interest in acquiring Kingswood Lake waterfront lots. The board voted to express interest in acquiring three small lots offered by the state Department of Environmental Services Dam Bureau at $465,000, with final approval deferred to the March 2027 town meeting. The board also approved a $1.6 million tax warrant, hired Dallas Emery as part-time handyman at $40 per hour, and selected Arsenault Heating and Air Conditioning to install mini-split units at the town offices for $12,145.
