NH BROOKFIELD — Board of Selectmen endorses $25,000 acoustic ceiling solution for Town House. Preservation architect Norman Larson recommended the Descoustics Claro fiberglass panel system for the 500 square foot meeting space at approximately 20 to 25 dollars per square foot for materials, with installation estimated at approximately 25 dollars per square foot. Acoustics engineer Aaron Kanapesky confirmed ceiling treatment would be more effective than incremental acoustic alternatives including wall panels and furnishings.

The Heritage Commission was assigned responsibility for stenciling preservation, grant identification, and coordination with the acoustic panel installation, with final cost analysis due by the end of February.
