NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Board of Selectmen repeals two ordinances during vault review, refreshes third. The Board voted 2-0 to repeal the Timber Monitoring and Wood Cutting Operations Ordinance and the 1986 Street Numbering Ordinance as redundant with state law and 911 emergency procedures, according to Chair Richard Zacher and Board member Jan Ledbetter (Vice Chair Austin Fifield absent). The Board declined to repeal the 1979 Nuisance Abatement Ordinance and instead directed consensus to refresh its language.
Road Agent Chris Kinville confirmed the timber ordinance was unenforceable and served no purpose.
