Conservation Commission preps Earth Week cleanup with Preserve work

NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Conservation Commission organizes April 18 Earth Week cleanup event. Chair Frank Frazier directed the commission to coordinate with the Selectmen to request free trash disposal from Wakefield, as in past years, and to partner with the Agricultural Commission on a companion seed swap. Member Leah Gage will post details and print bluebird information handouts.

The Commission voted 5-0 to approve February minutes and 5-0 to adjourn. Member Jeremy Marcotte completed mapping of a 2024-logged preserve area, and Vice Chair Faith Buell proposed guided ecology and birdwatching walks.
