Conservation Commission to help draft water resources ordinance

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 4, 2026

NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Conservation Commission will help Planning Board draft new water extraction ordinance in 2026. Chair Frank Frazier reported the Master Plan is nearing completion. The commission heard a presentation from applicant Luke Hurley on a wetlands application for a Camp Road property that would cross two significant wetlands to access a future lake residence; the commission expressed no concerns with the proposal.

A joint meeting with the Heritage Commission is planned for April or May to discuss 2026 preserve projects and signage needs.
