NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Municipal Records Committee updates retention standards, assigns department liaisons. The committee approved discarding hard copies of financial reports once data is entered into the state DRA portal, with records accessible on the town website. MRC liaisons were assigned to each town department and elected committee to ensure compliance with state record-retention law (RSA 33-A).
Selectperson Jan Ledbetter and Town Clerk Karen Sevacek will present the refined Right to Know procedure to the Select Board; the next meeting is June 23.
