PLANNING BOARD APPROVES EIGHT ZONING WARRANT ARTICLES
Planning Board · Meeting of January 12, 2026
NH BROOKFIELD — Planning Board approves eight zoning amendments for town meeting. Chair Ed Ingalls presided over a public hearing on six state housing law amendments and one local proposal affecting signs. All eight articles passed unanimously 6-0, including modifications that increase permitted sign size to 10 square feet, clarify parking requirements as "per dwelling unit" for multifamily workforce housing, and add grandfather protections for existing permanent signs.
Public input from Jan Ledbetter and Steve Patriquin raised questions about enforcement and consistency; the board planned to post detailed backup documents before town meeting.
