Planning Board approves fee overhaul, schedules pit hearing
Planning Board · Meeting of April 13, 2026
NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Planning Board approves fee overhaul after nine years. Board member Donna Faucette moved approval of the town's first major Planning Board fee schedule revision since 2017, raising the public notice fee from $100 to $200 when newspaper publication is required and increasing the recording fee from $30 to $50; the board eliminated a $100 pre-application design-review fee. The board scheduled a public hearing for April 30, 2026 at 6:00 PM on the Moose Mountain Properties LLC gravel pit excavation permit and voted by consensus to waive excavation and reclamation plan requirements for 2026 only, with such plans mandatory beginning April 1, 2027.
The board also ratified updated subdivision regulations incorporating state HB 13 and HB 1359.
