Planning Board Updates Subdivision Regulations for State Law

NH BROOKFIELD — Planning Board unanimously approves subdivision regulation updates for state compliance. Chairman Ed Ingalls moved to adopt town attorney recommendations regarding HB 413, extending development vesting periods from two to three years, and HB 1359, revising the definition of abutters to include diagonal projections across streets or streams; Member Jim Lowry seconded and the vote passed unanimously 6-0-1. The board also approved corrected January meeting minutes and noted that Town Attorney Laura Spector Morgan confirmed all permits issued to Frost Heave Brewery in 2022-2023 complied with zoning in effect at the time.
An updated Master Plan Land Use map will be requested from the regional planning commission and Version 1.3 will circulate for preliminary review by neighboring boards ahead of a scheduled public hearing.
