NH BROOKFIELD — Select Board plans ordinance overhaul and policy website reorganization. Rich Zacher, Select Board Chair, along with Vice Chair Austin Fifield and Member Jan Ledbetter, convened a working session to plan a comprehensive review of town ordinances and policies. The board plans to recommend repealing four outdated ordinances—the Public Nuisance and Abatement Ordinance (1979), the Timber and Wood Cutting Operations Regulation (2010), the Street Numbering Ordinance (1994), and the Vehicle Weights Upon Brookfield Public Streets Ordinance (1986)—pending public hearing.

The town will reorganize its website policies into Town Policies and Personnel Policies categories, with department heads submitting updated fee schedules for comprehensive review and a public hearing in August.
