Selectmen weigh bridge repair funding without decision

NH BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Selectmen weigh bridge repair funding, approve online tax payments. Chair Ed Gauthier presented options for funding Moose Mountain Bridge repairs through the town's unassigned fund balance, but the two-member board deferred any decision pending financial analysis and state approval. The Selectmen voted unanimously (2-0) to enable online credit card property tax payments through a new Tax Collector bank account, approved a $280 veteran property tax credit, authorized $500 for cable installation in the Town Clerk's Office, and scheduled a Medicare 101 educational workshop for March 26 at Town Offices.
